My name is Julie, but you can call me Miss JulieBelle.
I am the youngest of a dozen (minus 5) siblings and have 7 handsome nephews and 7adorable nieces. I also like to think that I am the glue that holds the family together, but that just might be the "baby of the family syndrome" talking.
I live in a gorgeous valley and fall more in love with it every time i drive up the canyon. Especially during Autumn.
I recently graduated with my Bachelor of Arts degree in History, Political Science & Geography. And, No, I don't know what I am going to do now. Growing up is hard. There are way too many options. (GRE, flipping burgers, mooching of my awesome parents forever. and beyond......hmmmmmmm)
I am slightly (if not completely) addicted to reading, reading and throwing fabulous parties. (and they really are fabulous). I was bit by the Travel Bug young, and have been going non-stop, all over the world, since I was 5, and there is no sign of stopping anytime soon. I go to midnight-book releases and/or pre-order them months in advance. One day, I might take the party planning into the big leagues, but for now, i am enjoying the "small" ones while I figure out my next step.
I love clearance shopping at Target, and have a giant collection of Thank You notes (which I write by the hundreds...sporadically). Handwritten letters are always preferred to emails, but both are lovely. In fact, I recently bought a letter sealer and plenty of wax, so be on the look out for clever looking letters.
I also like crafting. And making treats for every holiday for mis amigos and mi familia. In fact, sometimes it gets a little out of control.hence, the expansion of this blog-a-roo.
I love one-of-a-kind shops, and could spend every penny i have (literally) on stationary and old-world type stuff. You know what I mean.
I love organizing things, and love when everything has its place. That being said, my room is a mess. Don't ask.
I am a slight TV addict, mostly to House Hunters: International and The Amazing Race. (and, you can also through a little Office, White Collar, Big Bang Theory, Grey's Anatomy, Brothers & Sisters, Friday Night Lights, Mentalist, and Law & Order, I'm not too picky).
I take full-advantage of my Netflix account. Speaking of which, I generally stay up way too late watching said Netflix, given it is my only time to watch them. This also goes without saying that I love sleep and sleeping in.
Yes, I have an iPhone. and Yes, I am a Mac addict. You should be too.
I like to blog, but I always forget. oops.
I like to think I am an open book, but we all know that is not true.

oh wait, i prefer vanilla to chocolate always. unless i am in the mood for chocolate.
